Position Summary

Oxygen Forensics is seeking a driven, quota-carrying SLED Account Executive to expand our business with state and local government, law enforcement, and public safety agencies. This is a new-business role focused on creating qualified pipeline, winning competitive opportunities, and closing net-new business.
The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and will work closely with internal teams and channel partners to deliver digital forensics solutions that support investigators and public safety professionals. We welcome candidates with a strong public sector, SaaS, cybersecurity, or digital forensics sales background, as well as experienced digital forensics or investigative professionals who have demonstrated sales success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain 3-5x qualified pipeline coverage through outbound prospecting, account targeting, and partner engagement.
  • Identify and engage net-new agencies, investigative units, and public safety organizations.
  • Develop and execute account and market plans focused on new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, demonstration coordination, proposal development, procurement, negotiation, and close.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes, RFPs, contract vehicles, funding cycles, and budget requirements.
  • Build effective relationships with investigators, technical users, agency leadership, procurement teams, and other decision-makers.
  • Clearly connect Oxygen Forensics solutions to customer workflows, investigative challenges, and operational priorities.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, sales leadership, resellers, integrators, and channel partners to advance and win complex opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate activity, opportunity, and forecast information in the company's CRM and provide timely market feedback on customer needs and competitors.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience in public sector, SaaS, cybersecurity, digital forensics, or a closely related market.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline, manage a full sales cycle, and close net-new business.
  • Experience selling to SLED, law enforcement, or public safety customers; or prior experience as a digital forensics examiner or investigator with demonstrated sales success.
  • Working knowledge of public sector procurement and RFP processes.
  • Strong prospecting discipline, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Clear executive-level communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM or Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% based on customer and business needs.

What We're Looking For

  • A self-directed, new-business sales professional who creates opportunities instead of waiting for them.
  • Comfort operating in competitive sales environments with urgency, accountability, and strong closing instincts.
  • The ability to balance technical credibility with disciplined sales execution.
  • A collaborative approach to working with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Paid time off plus 11 holidays
